I have worked for the Emergency Services for nearly 17 years. Prior to joining the Ambulance service and beginning my training to become a Paramedic, I worked as an Operations Coordinator for Lothian and Borders Police. I have been a registered Paramedic since the start of 2016 and am keen to progress in to a leadership role within the Scottish Ambulance Service. I am passionate about a number of causes, one of which being Community Resilience and I frequently engage in community teaching sessions educating the public in CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators. In this arena, I feel we can achieve the best of both worlds by teaching these life-saving skills as well as promoting the charity. I am extremely excited about joining the NESM as an Ambassador.
